I work in digital painting and sculpture. My work is deeply influenced by traditional Eastern philosophy, such as Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. I moved to the United States for my MFA and as a result, my work combines classical aesthetics with modern techniques and Eastern philosophy with Western culture.

I use digital devices as essential tools in my art for over ten years. I take pictures of normally negligible natural elements such as clovers, dandelions, ladybugs, rocks, and twigs, and then input them into computers. After painting, reconstructing and transforming the images, each element's unique values emerge.

For me, everything exists for a reason. People may not find the specific reason, but as observing it closely enough, they will receive worthy knowledge.
